when I first start the car the car wants to die but will stay running if you push the peddle to keep idle speed put in doing so smokes quite a bit. It is also quite difficult to start cold.
note: will stay running perfectly after driving a few yards.

Also when ever I get on it, it starts to start smoking at about 3-4k rpm.

On another note will the turbo fuel injectors that clarks-garage work in our cars?

Sounds a lot like early stages of a bad head gasket. Hydrolocked from sitting blows the steam out for a few mins then runs ok but way rich cause the O2 sensor is hosed from the antifreeze. Sounds just like mine did anyway.

What is your compression on all 4 cylinders? That's an important piece of information.

Hmm... well, I'd go ahead and test it anyway. At least you'd know for future reference and the test itself only takes 5 or 10 minutes.

do a compression test, and if your smoke is black that is too rich, meaning a bad tempII sensor probably
