I am in need of a new external fuel pump for the 931. I am going with the Pierburg Pump (# 7.21659.70.0) as recommended on this board. However, I can't locate a supplier. Unfortunaltey, I don't have acess to a "good" local parts store that will order me one.
Anyone have recommendations for supplier of this part.
Thanks.

The factory's in Fountain Inn, SC. Sales and Engineering offices are located in Michigan. Maybe they could provide a list of retailers -

Be quick - the price seems to be rising fast.

Here is a brand new pierburg pump on e-bay that is real close to the part # you gave. Current price is, well, cheap. I don`t know for sure, but it may work on our cars as well.

That's a 6.5 bar pump as is 7.21659.70.0. The difference is the diameter of the "saugseite" which translates to "suction face" The saugseite is 12mm on 7.21659.70.0 and it's 15mm on the 7.21659.72.0 that's for sale in that eBay auction.
That info's from the bottom-right of this page -
http://www.geocities.com/smoothies931pics/PierburgInstPg1-8x10.txt
(The "saugseite" is the hose connection at the left side of the pump as shown in the auction photo. That pump should be usable by using a short length of 15mm fuel line, then a hose adapter to go from 15mm back down to 12mm.)

Thanks for the info.
The Hella rep. emailed me with the USA part # for the pump (98154) and put me in contact with All European Auto Supply, who sell the pump for $190.00 (plus approx. $10.00 for S&H). The Bosch pump is $200 (free S&H) from Drivewire.com. Either way I am look at $200. I just have to decide which brand to buy.
