Hi I'm an aussie & I previously owned a Carrera GT replica someone else built & regret selling it.Luckily I took molds of all the pannels & am about to build two,one for me & one for my son. I have the first 931 & am looking for another. My last one had Symmonds wheels,8" rear 7" front,I think, but I don't understand how wheel offset is measured. Anyone wanting the panels "down under" should contact me. I regularly work in glass or in carbonfibre. Meantime can you guys tell me what wheel options I have for 5 stud.

In GRP-Front fenders $250ea,Front spoiler $400,Rear flares $150ea,Bonnet scoop $150. Adds up to $1350.Add 70% for Carbon/Epoxy(super lightweight/strong) How does that sound?

Oops I forgot the sills $25 ea. For our American cousins now that the aussie dollar is at third world "sweat shop" rates that's only $US 715 for a full GRP body kit or $US 1215 for a Carbonfibre/Epoxy super lightweight kit. Down Under I could probably quote on fitting up to my own straight 924 to final adjust fittment, then remove, prime & paint to colourmatch to a headlight cover flap you send & you just bolt the parts on in your driveway ! Sounds easy peasy girlies. Now who's going to answer my Post on Wheel sizes & offset ? ps I can email .jpg's.

I am extremely interested in a set of panels, but I am in the US, could you email me a shipping quote shipped to Eugene Oregon USA?

As for wheel offset. A 0 offset means that the wheel face (where the wheel goes against the hubs) is exactly centered in the profile of the wheel. a 57mm offset (positive) means that the bolt face is 57mm to the outside of the wheel measured from the center, and a -57mm offset means that the bolt face is 57mm to the inside of the wheel. The backspacing is the measurement from the bolt face to the inside edge of the rim. If you want your rims to stick out more, get a lower (or negative) offset.

OK guys.I'm setting up a website so I can link pictures. But It's going to take more time than I first thought so . . . . I'll email them to you individually as you ask here, or in emails to me.

The cost to ship the parts from 'down under' would likely offset any advantages of the U.S. dollar..... Alex do you remember how much it cost me to ship you that engine.... and that was on the same continent.

OK and now the freight costs for Sea Freight to the USA. West Coast $150 Glass Kit, $100 Carbon Fibre Kit. East Coast add $50. That's still a bargain bodykit & the price I get in $Aus is fine. - All because of those rich buggers that wheel & deal in other peoples currencies. In the 1970's $1 Australian bought $US 1.20 Now it's .52cents !!!

So you would want $1050 AUD to ship a pair of front fenders and the air dam to west coast Canada?
