Hi All

How easy is it to replace the windscreen on a 924 na ?
Never tried a bonded screen before.
Don't suppose its just a matter of reomving the old one and then glueing in the new one ?? (and what glue is used???)

Any help appreciated
thanks

Ian

I would suggest letting your local glass shop do it.If you do it you will probably buy the gasket cutter ($15 or so ) L shape bladed tool ,to get under glass and cut through the adhesive and gasket.solvent to disolve and clean up remaining adhesive and gasket ($10 or so),new adhesive ($10 or so),an hour or so cleaning. If not installed properly, the possibility of body twisting, and sudden shock from a pothole or steep drivway could transfer to glass and crack it.some times, it just makes sense to pay someone to do it for you. If your interested,or cant find replacement glass heres a link to light weight and plastic wind screens

I had two windshields done by a pro in my driveway. Cost in NY dollars $195. Took about an hour.

And if the pro breaks it going in, he runs to the store and gets another no cost to you.

Thanks to all - I think I'll let the pros install it...
