Hey Guys i have 3 questions, i would be gratefull of help on any or all.
1. The connecting bar that connects the windscreen wipers keeps popping off (linking the motor to the other wiper), i wondered which way round its meant to fit, (it is rolled so there is a groove on one side and its rounded on the other), which faces forward, and does it matter which end is which as the ends are slightly bent (not sure if there supposed to be). How far is it supposed to click on to the knob, i can do it with my fingers but it doesn't seem very tight.
2. Do the Driving/Fog lamps work from the central console independently from the main beam, i can only get them to come on with main beam.
3. Is it possible to adjust those 2 screw fasteners that lock the boot to the body. My glass hatch has a little play in it, (even with a new seal) so i wondered if those screws can be screwed in to shorten them a bit and make the hatch fit tighter.
Thanx for your time

I can't help you on #1
But #2 there should be a relay under the dash behind the rpm guage that keeps the driving lights off when the high beams are enguaged. (unless you wired some in yourself.)
The rear hatch posts can be adjusted, but most are rusted in place and you will just break it. You need to loosen the nut that is on the post. Then you can try to screw the shaft in with a screw driver. If it does not move you need to purchase a new one.

In my UK spec 931 the lamps in the bumper are driving lamps not fog lamps. They can be turned on and off from a switch in the centre console, but they will only work when the headlamps are on. They are supposed to be long range driving lamps to light up the road even further ahead than the normal headlights, and they do seem to do this quite well.
Hope this helps,

Cheerz
Yeah but i can only get mine to come on with main beam, not with just the headlights, i assume that not right. I'll cover my rear hatch bolts in penetrating oil.
Has anyone found out which way round the wiper connecting rod is meant to be???
