I have been reading about this series, and am interested in building a car for it. However the car is neither a Porsche nor is it a BMW. It is an older Audi Coupe GT. I have the chasis, but before I go ahead and start a build up, I want to make sure that it would be allowed to run in your series.
Some background on the car.
Year - 1986
Engine - 2.2 Litre in-line 5 cyl
HP - stock is 115 (what I would be running to begin with)
Weight - Approx the same as an IT 924
I can get more information if needed or wanted. Thank you in advance for any information you can give.

Mike,
Drop me a line. We are experienced VW/Audi/Porsche builders and would be willing to help you with the technical end of things. Also, we have lots of OE Coupe GT parts laying around. As far as classification goes, I think you should be in GTS1 (2wd) or GTS2 (quattro), but I am not a series official.

Cool! Yeah, sounds like a GTS1 car in 2wd form, or GTS2 if it's a quattro. Full rules are now up on the website (GTSChallenge.com) which should help clarify any classification issues. Audis and Mercedes are also welcome to the series. _________________ Vaughan Scott
