I've posted the same question on the "Interior" section but I need to find out the answer ASAP.

Does anyone know if the brown color used in the early 924's matches the color of the vinyl used in the mid-80's 944? I'm looking at buying some interior pieces for my car and can't tell by the picture if the color will match what I already have. Did Porsche change the color brown or is brown is brown is brown....regardless of the vehicle model and year?

Try to check the color codes of the cars, if you can.
They might be different for the cars, but then you can still check thier names.

I'm not sure if it works, but at least it is some starting point.

I bought an brown interior door pull off of Ebay and it was a darker shade than the ones on my '80 931.

Yeah, that's what I thought. The picture looks darker than what I have. It's out of a 944, early model, and looks too dark to match up.
