just recently when I get onto this site some times it Kicks me right out of the site and closes all the windows. Whats the deal im not a bad person

first time I've heard of that happening.

Usually the software doesn't have a problem with BMWs. It does get a bit strange about RX7's, you haven't been associating with any Mazdas recently have you?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the same thing happens to me also. It will kick me out and close all of the windows I have open to the internet. I guess the board has an attitude and gets pissed off and takes it out on the rest of us. Or is it just Peter messing with us?

OK, time to get serious I suppose.

Dave, Paul, can you give me some more info:

Does this only happen on the board or has it happened on other sites?

What browser and version are you using (click the "Help", "About" pull-down menus)?

What operating system are you using (Windows ?? or Mac OS ??)?

Are you always on the same page on the board when it happens (the main discussion list, a topic list page, viewing a topic)?

After everything has been closed, if you restart the browser and go back to the board, does the same thing happen?

Does it happen if 924board is the first site you go to after starting your browser or does it only happen after you've been surfing for hours or only after you've been on a particular site and then go to the board?

Sorry about all the questions, it's just that I've never seen this myself so I'm trying to work out where to start looking

most likely there are errors on the site somewhere, and whoever uses an older version of IE or Netscape has problems with it. Either that or their cookie settings or just general settings are a lil screwed. um.. looks like i'm not adding anything useful
