This is so freakin' disappointing. I called to complain to Speedvision about this months ago, but obviously the lowest common denominator masses have won. Where will we see F1 practice, SCCA runoffs, Goodwood highlights, DTM, Motorvision and the such? American TV has crappy racing coverage (anyone see ABC cover the US Grand Prix?) to begin with, and now they take our only good station and show redneck racing!
I apologize if this offends NASCAR fans, but with 200 channels on DSS, 100+ on cable, and FOX on broadcast, get your own damn channel!
Excuse my rant. This has hit a nerve.

I agree. Its a shame that money controls everything. Money is definitely the root of all evil. Its also a shame that NASCAR makes so damn much of it and virtually all other forms of racing get overlooked in this country.

Guys, just be happy that we are around to enjoy automotive television channels.A few years ago, there was nothing out there for the car enthusiast to watch.Speedvision does a fine job under the circumstances. The vintage races,HotRod TV,off-road racing and international rallying is very interesting. So what NASCAR is into the fray. They probably overestimated the popularity of "left turn" racing,in which case the channel may not do so well.
