Hi, I need to replace the Cylinder Head Gasket but I can't find anyplace that sells the gasket alone, you have to buy a whole set for over 1000 kr (100$).
Since the block comes from audi I figured I could buy one that is made for ... yeah, what can I buy? I read somewhere that the block is the same as audi 100, is that correct?

I just bought a FelPro set today. HS 8647. I have NEVER had a gasket leak when it was a FelPro. I've installed 100 of these easy. $63 from AutoZone.

Brand new Goetze set , upper side of 2.0 engine. Cost 75.00 at store will sell for 50.00 including shipping in the 48 states.

I don't know what overseas shipping would cost but I can check with fed-ex if you send me your shipping info.

I have a FelPro head gasket from my old 924 hanging on the wall of the garage -- it is "missing" about 2" of gasket in between #3 & #4 cylinders.

this is my local parts shop:
http://www.gicp.com

i believe they ship worldwide. i just picked up an oem 931 gasket (use this on your 924) for about $40. they've got the best prices by far and are quick and know what they're talking about.

ps- don't forget the headbolt tightening sequence. and to retorque them cold, and the retorque procedure is to loosen the bolt first then torque it back up.

regards
