The motors just make noise and do not move the mirrors. Does anyone have fix procedures or is it gonna be replacement time?

My 924S mirror fell off when the main screw/spring assembly came apart and I had a lot of fun (not!) taking apart, fixing and putting back together. Three different types of screw head, no....four. I ended up grinding the positioning nubs off so I could thread the assembly back together but it all works now.
