Time: 07:39:07I'm fairly sure that all 924s were designed to run on unleaded. The only difference with the ones built for North America and Japan where unleaded was a legal requirement was the lower compression pistons and the anti-pollution gear (cat. etc).
My '79 runs happily on happily on leaded, lead replacement and premium unleaded. Do not feed a euro/UK/Aus 924 standard (92 octane) unleaded, it gives them very bad indigestion.
Anyway, the valve seats of all 924s were designed to be unleaded friendly.
