There are 2 wires at the rear which connect to the pump, a brown and black one, Am I correct to say that the Brown is positive? Also why does the pump still seem to turn when bench tested and wires are altered around? Thanks guys. _________________ MANY CARS |

No, brown is basically always ground on German cars.

Thanks my friend, a friend of mine suggested an extra strap from the engine block to the chassis/body, I guess this will do, as for other earths we have thoroughly cleaned and changed any loose connections, wires etc. Still more work to do.... _________________ MANY CARS |
