Hello All
First post, but I have done a lot of searching here already.
I have a 1979 924. It had blown a fuel pump relay and I am not seeing any replacements. It is a five-pin (without the fuse on top). I used a Porsche Part #: 141-951-253-B-OEM (four pin).
It fired right up and works great, I realize the pump will be running the entire time the key is ahead and I am ok with that for now. I was also looking at a toggle switch.
The problem is that it does seem to be clicking a lot, do I need to pull the trigger wire out of the fuse panel? It is a 40 amp. relay the same as the correct one.
I am not very good at electrical issues, I do have the schematic and I can not see why this relay should not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
