I bought the best example of a 1988 Porsche 924s that I could find. Of course it came from out of state. I am in Ca. Had tons done to it, new clutch, etc., etc. Damn thing won't pass Ca smog. My red top will run out tomorrow. Went to same smog place, total of 2x. Was told by tech that cat is probably bad and also to replace 02 sensor. This is the last thing I will try. If it does not pass, I will put it on Non Op. Drives great. Love car but annoyed by it. Anybody have this experience? My mental health is more important than this car. But I don't think it makes sense to get rid of it. Made this mistake before than found out some years after, car was worth much more. Argh. Ger. |

drain the tank, put one gallon in, drive to the Emissions place, pull off around the corner and put 2 gallons of Pure alcohol, you can find at home dept. as soon as you're done, put Regular gas back in. (dont drive home with alcohol ) _________________ It was either this or a giant box of legos |

Hey Mike do you think this would work on my 1979 NA? I have her running perfectly but unfortunately I’m in California and she came out of state from Tennessee with no EGR system or CAT…
Cheers,
