Hey, just checking in on the progress of this project. I am in need of bearings as soon as possible, so I'm hoping things are moving forward. Any updates? _________________ '81/'81/'82 |

I've answered you on July, 08 but never received any answer. Sorry for being late. All the sets has been reserved yet. I can register you on the queue if some retire from the list. |

That's unfortunate. PM system must have some glitch because I did PM a reply with my contact info as noted in my post to this thread on June 8...
Please put me on the list, I am still interested. _________________ '81/'81/'82 |

Parts must be ready in the coming weeks. In 10 days if everything is ok.
Mittelmotor was sourcing their bearings from E*S Rac*** and sold them 3 times more expensive. I've surveyed several guys in Europe that learned me they had concerns with these bearings. First, regarding to the appearance I can tell that it seems to be a cheap asian production.
Anyways I wanted to know why there was problems with this production, studied the parts with adapted laboratory machines. I've now all the datas that allow me to understand what is surprising with these bearigs which could leads to failures. I've finished the work in my native language : French but I'll share you the results in English this week.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay I've been quite busy and this is not a small project at all.
You'll find the report I talked about in my precedent reply just above, dealing with the Mitt******* bearings which where E*S sourced.

Please apologize any language mistake.
Bearings are made. They'll be ready next week.
Regards.

Wow! That was in depth and interesting. Did not expect that!
Disappointing that ebs uses the 2 layer bearings! I have a set on the shelf from Ideola that I was planing on using, but they are probably the ebs bearings. |

Hi,
I've juste updated my file to modify syntax and grammar mistakes.
As fas as I know Dan was sourcing his parts from King Bearings which must be much better, but Kings parts were also 2 layers bearings.
Pictures of the bearings that will be provided by mespiecesauto which is my partner as mentionned previously.

Just as an FYI. I've been racing the King bearings in two different cars for 4 years at 6000-7000 RPM with no problems. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car
