I recently came across a 924 for 1k that hasn't ran since 2017. The oil pan has some damage. Is it worth the money? I have many more photos if needed. The bottom of the oil pan looks like it exploded. _________________ -Le Count |

Plan on the engine being scrap - kind of unusual, not easy to hurt these things unless you run them out of oil or track them hard without proper precautions (oil cooler, mainly). Unless it's a Turbo? You didn't even mention what year...
If the cosmetics are very good, it could still be worth it with an engine replacement... _________________ Vaughan Scott

The engine is less important than other things. A nice dash and non ripped seats, clean body that is what I would look for.
A cracked pan may be from hitting something. |
