Hi everyone,

A member of the club had asked me if it would be possible to make forged conrods.
Of course, I can provide you a set of real 4340 steel, shot peened conrods for 390€ incl. shipping to UK (but without the bolts ~80€ of ARP). To launch a production we need to order 10 sets, as the forging matrix is quiet expansive to build.
This can seem really cheap parts, but there is no marketing on the product, neither intermediate reseller. Here is the only difference of price with a 1000$ set.

Is there anyone interested?

The conrods has been designed, and ordered to the factory this morning

The weight should be near 570g without the bolts. It corresponds to 600-610 g with the ARP bolts. This is an estimation. We hope the parts to be available within 2 months.

Cool, that is light!

Original is 877g and the Aliexpress H-rods I have are 707g (all with bolt I think, 99% certain it were).

What kind of power levels have you designed them for?

Previous conrods manufactured has often been set up on >400hp 2L 4cylinders engines without any concern.
Some of these engines have reached 600hp without bending the conrods.
I could give more precise informations if you desire to reach such levels of power!

Coco, valves looks hard to find, for the NA 924 (I need exhaust valves right now).

You don't have connections that can make some nice stainless inlet and exhaust valves, maybe even 1 or 2 mm oversize?
I would by at least 2 sets.

How have you done with the piston cooling oil squirter hole? Are there any sets extra available?

Safe-- SI valves have both 924 and 931 valves in their catalog.

Not anymore... They cant do 9mm stems.

Edit: They have no 9mm blanks was their specific answer.
