Anyone know a good place to source a rebuilt S1 (RoW) turbo from?
It's the K26-2470 R 6.10 I think?! |

Ebay.de and other euro versions sometimes unearth some refurbed or NOS stock. Expect to pay over $1000 + shipping + taxes. I just checked and cannot find one. Or just buy a good used one and get it refurbed locally.
However I would not bother with the 2470 compressor ........ source a 2660 or ideally 2664 compressor regardless that it will come with 4.10 v's the 6.10 turbine housing. There will be used stock of these in USA and EU. But getting rarer. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

+1,no need to use the ol 2470 if you arent specifically out to raid it for the #6 turbine housing.
