After testing a new relay, still nothing. All the voltage check out at the relay, except possible terminal 1 or L12 on the relay board, connects to coil. I'm only getting 2v. What is the voltage from the coil supposed to be? |

That coil connection tells the relay that the engine is turning over. That means the relay does not close until the car is cranking and making spark. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I'm getting 2v when cranking. Maybe that's not enough voltage to close the relay, due to a bad coil, or the new relay is bad. Spark seems strong. Any idea how how many volts should be coming through L12 or 1 on the relay board? The haynes manual says test for voltage between L12 and L15, but not what to expect. |
