I've sold a few old Porsches and have some needed space in my shop. I'm thinking about getting serious on my '82 924 Turbo and dropping the engine for a rebuild. Browsing through threads it appears the bearings are NLA. Let me know if this rebuild is a viable option or am I too late? The goal is to keep it as original as possible. Thanks gents!

Try EBS Racing.....they generally keep most hard parts.

Thanks Peter. Looks like a good resource. I believe I actually have a Porsche service manual that came with the car so I'll start reading through the procedures. I've been doing a few little fixes lately and it's reminded me how solid this 931 is. Installed a radio and the speakers were fine (very surprising). Hatch wiper works but will need a replacement blade. I guess I'll pick back up on the restore thread.

Ebs had some made last summer. You should be able to get a set. Other parts may be harder, but they are out there.

Valves and valve guides are available from SI valves. I for one have some good used valves.
