I have Motul RBF600 in the race car brake system, do I need to change it out completely over the winter or will just a thorough bleeding suffice? I'm also de-glazing the pads between race weekends.

For your kind of use I would do it (I did when i tracked reaguarly) every winter. If you do it correctly it just about works with a 0,5l can of RBF600 to get all the old fluid out, so its not very expensive.

Thanks to some US law of stupidity you cant buy ATE racing blue any more. Otherwise altering between the blue fluid and RBF600 was a brilliant way of knowing when the old fluid was flushed out. But at least I learnt that 0,5l is enough to completely change the fluid

I do a complete flush of the 600 every year. For a few years, I added a tiny bit of food coloring to the clear new fluid to be able to tell when the old fluid was gone and then the next year just use the clear until the colored fluid was gone. Maybe that's why when I hit the brakes I smell cupcakes

I flush every year, regardless of usage.
