I’m considering purchasing a 1980 924/931 M471 that appears to have all of the correct parts/options to be authentic. These cars appear to be somewhat uncommon and don’t want to overpay. Would the value of these cars be closer to the value of a NA or a 931? This would be based on a good condion/ lower mileage driver.
Will the option codes be listed on the rear panel like a 944? |

So it is an NA with M471? 5 lugs and upgraded sways and stuff but not a turbo?
I think a good solid M471 NA should fetch like $5k but I doubt the market agrees with me.. You can probably get a really good one for like 3.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

My 1980 924 had the 5 lug hubs, 944 NA brakes and upgraded suspension but I dont think it has an LSD....at least it doesnt act that way on the track. It didnt have the option tag by the tail light so no idea if it actually is a M471 but it has all the other options. _________________ '80 924 M471,Wideband O2, Full coilover susp,23/19 sways,Bilstiens,KLA Strut Brace,Roll Bar,Test Pipe,BBS RS, Willwood BBK

Pretty sure LSD was not part of the M471...it was an option, but I have seen and owned many M471-equipped cars that did not have it. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
