I a proud owner of a 1980 924 daily driver . but when it comes to ignition timing i am a little lost . my chassis sticker has it at 0 +/- @ 950 +/- 50 rpm my haynes manual has it at 3 deg.
at 950+/- 50 rpm this is were i have it now. car runs good but I need to be sure or will 3 degree make any difference how can i find out if the engine in my car is a 1980 or is some other year.
