So my question is, is there any way to establish how much ware is left on a clutch.

I usually keep trying different sized sockets until I find one that just fits, then I measure its outer diameter.

34mm - 18mm = 16mm. So if it measures 26mm for example, it's at 50%.

I just measured mine and it shows 19.5 mm...so I'm good for a while.
