Shaggy shares Cedric's setup in terms of spring rates. It has a ridiculous amount of grip for a street car. It is also very stiff. I guess it's a matter of personal taste, but I'd say it's close to excessive for a daily driver.
I'd recommend going in stages. When I got the red S, I put on the fattest factory sways I could find, among with decent dampers, and it handled plenty good enough for track days without sacrificing any ride quality.

The stiffness is very dependant on shock setup, when they are set at a softer setting and i run 15'' light wheels (my 16'' d90 are waaaay heavier than cookie cutters for example) tyres with some sidewall its actually pretty good. Also depends alot on your local road quality but agree, its very good on track, so much fun i can impossibly sell the car, cant find anything more fun _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Thanks guys for all the information. I do appreciate it.
924 76, I do appreciate the offer of assistance. I haven't forgotten about you, that is for sure.
Around this time of year I always get the itch to upgrade the car. It is great fun as it is, but I have come to the point where I am out driving the car in its current configuration. I need to get off my behind and start the upgrades. I also need to find the money to do so.
I will be measuring the sway bars I have in my garage this weekend. From there I will probably look at going the Non-weld route for a rear bar and upgrade the front. I don't want to get into cutting up this car, it is too nice. 924-76 did really well with the work he did with it. _________________ Cheers;
