Hi guys,

I have been doing some weight reduction in order to make the 924 a bit faster without spending money in performance upgrades.
Now, before, when the carpetry was still in the car, i used to find it wet, which is not good, so i took it out and occasionally after some rain i would find water on the passenger side floor and the central consolle on the ash tray.
I started taping the car with duct tape from the outside to try and isolate the problems, and the center consolle now stays dry, as the problem was somewhere in the windshield upper part.
I still have water on the passenger side floor and i have no idea where to look or what to fix. Also, i've removed the roof leather and insulating material, and with cold temperatures and crappy weather, it makes a lot of condensation, to the point i have to dry up the whole roof before driving, to avoid a free shampoo...
Is there such a thing like a diagram with all the seals or potential water leakage points?
Please help!!!

Check the floor of your battery box under the battery for rust holes through letting water in..

Check all the drains from this under windshield area..

Also it is a good idea to clean your sunroof drain tubes out using weed eater line but not compressed air..

Thanks!

The battery tray seems solid, tere are no holes. Are there other drains under the windshield? Where exactly?

PS i have no sunroof. I just have bare metal now and the condensation is terrible

Like from behind the wiper motor through a tube by driverse pedals on lhd cars and back out the firewall down under the brake booster area or close..

Stick a water hose in there and see where it goes.. You'll know if it's leaking to your interior then and be able to find it most likely..

Usually the battery box itself is the culprit or that drain tube clogged and/or rusting out..

With no carpets/interior you can spread Talcum powder around the interior. The water will leave trails in the powder from where its coming from.

verify your heater core for any leaks, although the water should be greenish if this is the source

Have you done a search on here (using Google)? I know water leaks have been discussed quite a bit.
