I'm leaning here but what do you guys think. A ford 3 liter v-6 2002.
Its a awesome little motor with a great efi sys. And aftermarket performance parts are available. Seriously. I'd use the 931 g31 tranny torque & clutch. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

There's no way the stock intake will fit under the hood. A guy in Mexico dropped a 3.8 Ford in a 944. Though the engines aren't really related I'm sure the 3.0 will fit. You don't get much more reliable of an engine than the 3.0 Vulcan. It's not really a performance monster though. There are things like stroker kits and cams out there but they aren't cheap by normal American speed parts standards. |

The work to create a functional bellhousing will be the same as the work needed to adapt a Chevy V8.
You'll need to build an adapter from the torque tube to the Ford bellhousing and possibly shorten the nose of the torque tube to ensure there is enough clutch spline engagement to fit the Ford pressure plate and the Mopar clutch disc.
Motor mounts will need to be fabricated.
Oil pan may need to modified to fit the crossmember/steering rack.
Hood clearance issue may be an issue as noted.
Clearance issues with the brake booster are common with V engines and could require changing to a hydroboost or manual brake master cylinder solution.
There's the various connections to deal with like electrical, cooling, fuel, throttle, exhaust, air intake, etc.
If you're going to do this swap, it will be a lot of fiddly work and take much longer than you expect. _________________ Stefan

Actually Stefan hey could use the stock 3.0 clutch. My 1.8 swap is using a 3.0 ford clutch. |

And taking much longer than you expected is exactly right although half of my delays are due to time or money and the lack there of. |
