Hi to all;
I'm finding difficult to locate some bearings for the short-lived G31 gearbox.
There's that 40 x 80 x 18 mm pinion center bearing, the thrust/ centering large bearing with the locating flange that has simply disappeared from the books and has now been added to the first gear syncro pieces and such...
This rugged boxes are super tough, stronger than 915...
That pinion thrust area is larger , has bigger bearings and the locking plate is 1-piece instead of the 2-piece. But getting that bearing, that's another story..
So, I resort to my forum friends..there's got to be one around here somewhere I can pickup, new, used, usable..
Buying a Hewland is not an option...!

Well; it seems I have another shot at finally getting the right one...
New part number shows it to be the same as 917-301-391-00.....reportedly
for Turbo 930 gearboxes..which would make a LOT of sense to me; now,
anyways...
Of course, at double the price, but...
