better prop the other side up on the hood or your going to bend that hood.

Yeah, they do that on the older models.

Its worse when you have a fiberglass hood

I adapted some of these:



to alleviate that problem without going to struts like the later cars had.

Looks like you've got one of the FOHA rear spoilers, which is a pretty rare item. Is there a matching front spoiler to go with it?

Someone took care of that car a bit, I see some red paint on the front calipers, a nice set of alloy wheels, fairly clean engine bay, etc.

Should be a pretty nice ride once its running!

Is there anyway to mount lift supports on these hoods?

Possibly, using some rivnuts and some fabbed brackets.
