I'll check it. The car starts up great and runs perfect for about 30 seconds to a minute. So I'm pretty sure AAV is doing it's job. It's the 1 min to 5 min. range that is pissing me off. _________________ 1980 924 NA

Another thing I remembered was I had to replace the fith injector with a used one.
I went through this hell for several months and found several changes the PO had made to fix the idle. Including ONE misplaced vacume line. Finally I have the engine figured out and am stuck with a small wiring issue.
Great learning process, but frustrating. When you find it, post it I'd like to add it to my collection of "another place to look" |

The AAV should still operate from heat soak temperature from the engine if the power supply isn't operative, albeit not as effectively. Check it is operating by applying 12v to it for 20/30 secs. _________________ 1984 n/a Ruby Red Metallic

All fuel pressures are perfect, I've got spark. I tested compression: 215, 215, 215, 25.
That's the problem. Hoping it's just needing valve adjustment. Otherwise, I will be putting an LS motor in there. _________________ 1980 924 NA
