I'll take that bet.
And, I was serious about your factory WUR. . .you're risking rupturing the diaphragm. . .under boost. . .at high RPM. . . _________________ Toofah King Bad

Is the GTS WUR different from the stock 931 WUR? _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |

Just telling ya what the FSM says, my brother. If you like the factory WUR, Brian Leask can rebuild it with a stronger diaphragm. Seems like reasonable insurance to me.

P.S. If you do this, the bet is off. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Thanks for the heads up Rasta, I didn't realize the adjustable units utilized a different diaphragm. BTW I'm only running 12psi currently... I've decided there is no good reason to push the engine too hard. _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |

Our engines don't grenade, they Chernobyl. I think you'll be happy with your UTCIS once you get a properly working unit in place. _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

The GTS didnīt have a WUR. Only a simple vavle with a high or low setting. Very digital _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

Easy. But you have to choose; milage or power.
Buy a 3 bar (adjustabe?) fuel pressure regulator and you are close.

This is an interesting idea. You could have an old-skool type choke. . .it would just have to swing from 2.5 to 3.5 BAR. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Sorry, I was wrong. The GTS has a WUR located on top of the intake manifold.
Cold: 2,2 bar
Warm: 3,65 bar
Warm at WOT: 2,6 bar

ok then...how does the GTS WUR differ from the 931 WUR?
does it have a better diaphragm? does it work in a different way?

ha ! nice price.
however we would want the 105X as thats pre 81 and thats for the high boost applications...however..they have the same part numbers..and that means chances are the WUR is identical for the 931 and 937/GTS _________________ https://www.the924.com |

Oops, misread the PET, as did you, Morghen. I believe the CGT motor is the M31.05, which does appear to use the "standard" 931 WUR.
Per our Tech Section, the GTS and GTR motors were M31.06 & M31.07, not appearing in the PET page shown.
A more likely candidate for the GTS would be the 930 part, also horizontally mounted. _________________ Toofah King Bad
