My what a BIG hammer you have.

Try to loosen the bolts on the fender and push it in. There should be some room to close the gap.

Dan what a bummer!

I would first check the chassis rails for a crease, especially the left one as it appears that your car has taken a light hit from the left side and slightly moved everything in that direction. You will have to remove the airfilter box to give it a good examination.

Well, since I don't have the proper metric, left-handed BFH, I think I'm going to try to modify my US bumper shocks to mount the bumper. They'll give me some side-to-side wiggle room, and I can push them in as much as I need to in order to get a tight fit at the fenders.

By the way, "percussive maintenance" is my new favorite phrase.

You should be able to get it to fit with some bangin' on the mounts.

If not, DIBBS on the bumper. (Assuming you didn't f-it up too bad applying percussive maintenance with the BFH...)

My bumper kind of sits like yours too. Mine sticks out away from the car more on one side than the other. I thought the bumper mount/shock was bad, but when I pulled the bumper off, the mount wasn't bad, the sheet metal that it bolts to was pushed in. So now I think I'll use the BFH on the backside above the valance to get it to come back out. Least I wont be able to see my handiwork if it doesn't work.

Let the fluid out of the shocks maybe then you can push each side how ever much I dont know how your sitting for tools though if you can maybe enlarge the shock mounting holes then with a bigger correct thickness washer you can get your side movement, euro bumpers just look good.

I don't believe the ROW bumpers use shocks.

I haven't had much time to work on this, but I did chop up a pair of US bumper shocks to use for mounts. I bolted everything up temporarily, and it looks like it'll work fine. I can push it in as far as I need to, mark it, and then take it off and weld it.

But, I'm still going to have to perform a little percussive maintenance on the valence to make it line up.

This is what I came up with. They're lighter than the stock shocks (1.5lb vs 4.5lb each), but a little heavier than the euro mounts (0.6lb each).
