I would love to see all clear lenses. I have seen them in the past. _________________ 1976 924

Nah, please don't. It reminds me of Bender
I'd stick to #3 and take the white out. Enough white on the body already.

Totally agree. I think this is the real reason to make the backup light red. The body shop said "this is the time if any if you want to change the body color". I thought about it, but I just like white. I've always been a fan. Black does look good on a car like this, but how often do you see a white Porsche? Well, let alone a white car? Not as often once you start to think about it. There are more darker colored cars out there and I like the attitude white presents. _________________ Minneapolis British Sports Car Restoration | v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps - BMC British Automobile

Clear lenses, yea Ive seen those too. Um
I dont know though I think it would be bad to have all clear
lenses though it definatly changes the look of the car.. keep
the stock ones handy for the mellow clean look..
its like the new toyota tacoma double cabs I looked at yesterday
at the car show..the tail lights are all clear and have a bunch of chrome
inside.. Kind of made me want to puke. _________________ 2003 Toyota Tacoma deluxe cab/ TRD package.

Depends where you are, I guess. In Australia, I'm pretty sure it's the most common car colour by far. It's like silver and "champagne" up here in Vancouver. Very few cars that aren't those colours!

Hate to be a fly in the ointment but you better check with what would NOT get the ire of the local constabulary. If you go all clear make sure the bulbs are the correct color (brake = red, indicators = red or amber, reverse = white) or what ever the law is. Better to keep the funds in your pocket to modify the car than pay for fines.
I've been pulled over for having an old style IL license plate even though it was the same license plate number. _________________ 1980 Turbo
