Ok, here are 3 alterations that are simple enough to do to your tail lights:
1. Leave um alone. Keep um stock:
2. Alter only the tail light left and right turn signals:
or
3. Alter only the backup lights:
4. Alter both the backup lights and the tail light left and right turn signals:
or
5. Do something no one else has thought of to your 924/944:

After doing all these photoshops I decided it would be nice to share with the world. At first , before I did the photochop, it sounded logical that it would look awesome having my choice as #4- make it consistent throughout the tail lights.
But, then after doing the photoshops I found that I actually love #3... Don't get me wrong, #4 is nice, and in my opinion much better then stock but #3 really gives a unique look! Time to do some work it looks like! _________________ Classic British Sports Car Restoration v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps

I voted to keep em stock... but I think #2 would be a mild enough alternative. _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |

Technically, it's not legal in most states here either...
...after looking at the photoshops, I'm beginning to wonder why the stock lights are so bad. I think if I were really inclined to do something other than stock, I would adapt a 968 rear end. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

In my opinion its a little too much variety. It's not bad, but my choice is to simplify things... It's not a drastic change, but its something that someone will go "something is different but I can't figure out what"... _________________ Classic British Sports Car Restoration v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps

I've changed the rear indicators over from orange to clear and haven't been pulled up or failed a yearly check since... looks cleaner I think.

Actually, I think those are OK here in the states, as long as you have an amber bulb for the turn indicator...and I do like that look better than the red-outs. Jon, maybe you can add that as an option, so we can see what it looks like compare to the rest? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I like the two circle lights on each side. Anyone know who makes the rear treatment? _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
