bought this engine yesterday to drop in my 924. it's a nissan 300zx non turbo motor. paid the guy 100 dollars for the complete engine (in parts form) including the ecu, wiring harness, etc...
im very excited. this is going to be my first engine rebuild and my first motor swap. this engine unmodified puts out 222 hp. with some performance modifications i think i can get 400 plus (be cool to twin turbo the thing)
tomorrow im going into gainesville to pick up a rebuilt 300z 5 speed tranny and some other parts i think im going to need for 50 bucks. learned that with a lot of patience and research almost anything is possible for cheap.
im giving myself 3 months to complete the project. ill keep every body posted.
p.s. still have old 2.0 for sale extremely cheap. it's out of a 78. make any offer for it and it's yours. or any parts you need out of the engine.
squeezing this
into this... awesome
