We have a group buy going on for stock replacement lifters. These are not solids, or anything else - simple replacements for the stock lifters that use the stock screw in adjusters.

I'm already running a set of these with my Integral cam - no problems at all.

More details over here. Started this thread to make sure everyone was aware of it.

RRP is GBP80 per set of 8 lifters - not including shipping. Buy-breaks setup as follows:

5 sets - 15% discount
10 sets - 20% discount
20 sets - 25% discount

I'm waiting for feedback on shipping options, at the moment I think they'd be shipped individually to your address of choice - trying to sort it out for shipping to a number of individuals who can then handle local dissemination.

UPDATED LIST OF PARTICIPANTS
  • pocketscience - confirmed for 1 set
  • ideola - confirmed for 1 set
  • peterld - confirmed for 2 sets
  • RC - confirmed for 1 set
  • emoore924 - confirmed for 1 set
  • El Chato - confirmed for 1 set
  • GregSC - confirmed for 1 set
  • morghen - confirmed for 1 set

Almost at the 10 set buy-break!

Payment will be via Paypal to my company account, and I'll then place the entire order with Newmans on my credit card. Would like to have all confirmations in by Monday August 24th. With Paypal invoices going out soon after that to each participant. Once everyone has paid I'll place the order with Newmans. Please PM me your Paypal address ASAP to save time.

Cheers,
Gavin.

Thanks Gavin for organising this deal - seems almost too good to be true.
And if I could afford I would buy even more.
I don't suppose these guys also make the screw adjusters?

On a rather more serious note - please be very, very cautious on the importation of these little lifters. I have just had the very unhappy experience of dealing with the Gestapo at Australian Customs. Bought some gear from the USA. Supposedly we have a Free Trade Agreement with the US. Bullshit! The total of my goods (including freight) when converted to Aus $ came to $1,001.19 - that $1.19 tipped it over the scales and I became liable for Customs charges, import duty, GST, storage, etc, on the LOT!!! Had the bank actually converted at the correct rate for that day instead of taking their few cents kickback, I would have been OK, or had they converted a day later, it would have just scraped in. Trust me there is no heart at Customs. Just Unbelievable. How on earth is it that duty can be levelled on freight and insurance?

Therefore given the above, it would be prudent to freight the OZ lifters to each buyer individually or you will have grief, and therefore our bill from you should reflect this.

Cheers PLD

Might want to re-post the pricing on this thread in both GB and US. Might get more takers.

Just to be clear, I believe these are the lifters only, no grub screws included, correct?

Why not see if you can find a UK type who wants lifteres to sort the re-shipping? Would be daft to get stung twice for shipping.

Or just get newman cams to send 2 packets one to the US and one to Oz?

BTW I don't want lifters I have plenty here...
