i sent my wiring harness to current performance in hudson florida to have them make it a stand alone harness i think this should cost me around 450 bucks
im not sure exactly when ill be getting my harness back
the company has been busy so it may take awhile for them to get it done

i sent my computer in to intense racing in ohio to have it flashed and i've already got it back. it was pretty nice they can get it one day flash it and ship it out in the same day

i ordered a bunch of stuff for my engine today
i needed to replace some gaskets so i ordered those and im hoping to get them put on this weekend

i also got new plug wires and plugs

i ordered new brake pads for the front and shoes for the back
one of my wheel cylinders is out so i got a new one of those as well

Thanks for the info. is there any way of sitting the engine lower with a dry sump. coil packs can be relocated and i was going to turbo the L67. Everyone does the LS1 conversion I was looking at doing it differently.

How is your conversion progressing? here is a link to an Aussie site with a 500hp turbo L67. Just bolt on mods completely stock internals. http://v6supercharged.com.au/prototype.asp since this the car has run 11.68 @ 121mph in a 4000lb car not bad for V6

In all reallity the turbo is the way to go. You will get more power out of the motor. Get an l67 put a camaro intake manifold on its and slap a turbo on there and there you go. If you look at it if you were to weld a new flange on to the stock fwd exhaust manifolds you could prolly just put your turbo on that way. You also wouldn't have to worry bout the supercharger pulley and like you said you can move the coil packs. The real clearance problem is the altinator. It sticks up farther than the sc pulley does. I just dnt no were you would relocate it to. Possibly to were the AC compressor was but idk. I'm deleting my AC and power steering I have a new belt (# 495k6) that is the rite length to run the water pump and the alt. If your goin the swap in a 944 it will prolly be easier then mine is cause I believe the 944 have different cross members and suspension in the front which will make motor mounts easier plus it will already have a better tranny and the rite torque tube which mine did not.

hows the progress going? pics and update would be great

I am looking at other 6 cyl engine possibilities not quite sure yet what I will use.. What is the width of the engine bay I was looking at a Subaru H6 these engines are around 30' wide but very short and only weigh 280lbs and are capable of 600+hp

ok its been awhile since ive posted
well ive got several parts on the way for my car
my computer harness should be here on friday
and my exhaust manifolds should be here next week some time
i got exhaust manifolds for a 95-98 camaro and hopefully they will fit
i did some wrk on my engine last weekend i put intake manifold gaskets and the supercharger gasket on

im planning on building a braket to relocate my alternator down were my power steering pump was located

it should be pretty easy i think but i will need to use a different alternator
but its all good ive got one sitting at the house but idk if is any good

i ve still got to fab up some motor mounts
and a plate to bolt my slave cylinder to
plus the line for the clutch and then get my brakes fixed up

ive still got quite abit of wrk to do but im hopin to get busy

maybe I missed it, but what is the slave cylinder that you are using from? I'm looking for one to use with my AAN swap project.

The slave cylinder is from a 1999 camaro with a 3.8 v6. I'm using this because I'm using a 3.8 camaro bell housing to connect the torque tune to the engine

roger, does this bearing fit the t-tube shaft properly?

it fits over the shaft
weather that is properly or not idk

this is what it looks like
if you wanted to know
i need to build to a plate to bolt it to and then bolt the bell housing
that mite be kinda tricky
when the slave cylinder goes in the correct car (camaro) it bolts to the tranny not the bell housing

my wiring harness has finally returned

the company took my factory wiring harnes made it a stand alone wiring harness, they removed and added several things

the deleted my egr valve plug, removed all of my transmission wiring(wich was a large amount of the wires in my harness)

things that they added includes a fuse block, a diganostic port, and wiring for electric fans

they made the harness rather simple to install
there are i believe fire wires that i will have to wire in
two wires will go to the ingition key one goes to the fuel pump, one to the sevice engine soon light, and one for an electirc speedometer

it will be rather simple to install

that's cool. I hope that mine turns out to be so sparse. It could really clean up the engine bay.

well heres an update
i will no longer be running a super charger
i have decide to run a turbo charger instead
i have got may new intake which is an intake of a camaro
i will be using a t67 turbo whick i ordered tonite

i still need to order a cam, fuel injectors, valve springs intercooler piping and the inter cooler

unfortunatley not much to report
i have been severly slacking in my build
i got a truck im trying to get fixed up and running for my daily driver so i have not been wrking on my car

that very small harness there isn't anything left!! its about a 1/4 the size it used to be
nice work so far. I really enjoy see what ind of fabrication ppl can do at home
