With many heartfelt thanks to Rasta Monsta, we now have a source of STD and .25 main bearings for the 924 2.0L motor. EBS Racing is going to handle the distribution from the manufacturer (King Bearing).
The pricing for the group buy will be a flat USD$100 per set, which is $25 off the individual price they mentioned to both Rasta and myself. The group buy price will cover shipping to Michigan and all associated money transfer fees, etc. Shipping from me to you will be invoiced separately on a case by case basis, as we have done on the previous group buys.
EBS indicated to me that King had a supply of 30 sets of each size. I'm not sure if King can be induced to make more if our demand exceeds the current inventory, but I've inquired about that and hope to have an update soon. Bottom line: first come, first served.

I should have mentioned earlier, there will be a 3-week minimum lag time for the shipment to arrive from King to EBS. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I'll send out paypal invoices and instructions, probably begin with that early next week once we've hit the minimum order of 10 sets (which doesn't figure to be a problem). _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

If I count correctly, the group buy minimum number has been met.

I'm interested, crank hopefully coming out this weekend to measure for size. What is your timeframe to close off orders?
Any idea on freight to Australia?

Yup! And I suspect several more orders will be confirmed within the next 24 hours.

At this point, it looks like the order will be closed as soon as we've reached the magical 30 mark for either size. Anything above that will require another run by King, and that could add to the time frame.
As for shipping to Australia, I would suggest we take the same path as previous group buys, and put all Aussie-destined sets into USPS flat rate boxes. They can be shipped for $40 or $50 IIRC, depending on normal or large flat rate box, up to 20 lbs each box. We'd have to appoint someone in Australia to distribute from there. The actual cost of shipping will be determined by the total number of pieces and the weight of the shipment, which there's no way for me to know until I have the goods in hand. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
