Very nice! Tastefully done. I really like the extra shine on the stock wheels, looks great! _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Thanks that means a lot, I got them powder coated I wasn't sure it would work and at £60 each it was a gamble which i'm now thinking paid off
The bonnet is next its a late 944 which is another story, I have another 1979 bonnet but blue at this time but is being done soon the I will be numbering that as well I think?
I can't help myself

If the road has a steep bit she's a hillclimber
Mainly she is for playing on the track on track days, I'm still just a kid
Its as 1979 and as Stock a car as I can get her, even to the extent of being in the process of having an original 1997 bonnet sprayed and polished. The one on it at the moment is I think a 944 or S unit with gas prop mounts and heated jets I want the proper single side bar support at the moment its a broom handle
I must at this point confess to installing a blaupunkt pilot CD/sat nav unit, and a bloody expensive magnetic tacho pulse generator which I now think its only job is to adjust the volume up and down dependent on my speed, will I be struck down in my steps? _________________ Dan

Bah! Gotta have tunes! I've got a fancy Blau head unit, speakers, sub, and amps in my street car too... well, make that one amp, the other died, still have to replace it.
As for the racecar... well, maybe you should take a look at the inside photos of mine (on my webpage) - I have a full AIM data acq system and 2-camera video solid-state DVR... the car is literally wired for sound! More electronics than virtually every other car on the grid, including the EFI ones! _________________ Vaughan Scott
