That little dude behind the radio on '81s and '82s is the Digital Ignition Timing Control or "DIC". Also refered to as "DITC".

Why are you looking for one? Missing? or just suspect it's bad? - because often the only problem with them is a bad connection - the rectangular multiwire connector is known to get flakey and just needs to be unplugged, cleaned and replugged (or just unplugged/replugged)(or just jiggled).

Actually the Box was missing all together. I ended up getting one from Bobby Dodd. But now I am having trouble locating 2 of the three cables that plug into it. One being the impuls Sender & the other being the threaded vaccum fitting that mounts on the intake manifold. I think they might be missing. So if anyone has these cables/hoses, let me know because I may need them also.

The vacum line is just that and I'll see if I can dig one up. Just two Banjo fittings clamp to a rubber hose.

I think I sold my last sensor a while back, but there is one on ebay I think.

I'll look for one in the meantime

Hey Bobby, how much do you want for the one that you DO have? I looked on ebay & couldnt locate the impulse sender. If you do have one of those too, let me know...
