Well I busted that wideband unit well and truly so I thought I'd finish my centre console idea while waiting for the replacement:

Very nice metal work! I think I like it but I'm not sure Definetly looks better than mine.

looks good....all you need now is something in that middle section.... perhps a couple of cupholders and coin thingy?...also how are the aluminium( im guessing its aluminium) corners joined?? welding maybe? not easy on aluminum _________________ 1979 NA

Very nice, only thing you need to worry about is the heat that gets stored in aluminum around the shift knob. That would also make a great master for a fiberglass mold....

hey macbdog..where do you get your aluminium sheeting in brisbane? ive only been able to find 0.5 mm sheets need some 1 mm + sheets ...p.s how are those corners joined? _________________ 1979 NA
