Guy's,
As requested, here are some video's of the car in action. The first is of my fastest run at Harewood this year, where i took a respectable 3rd place. as you will notice, i went into the bottom complex a bit hot, which cost me dear. Other than that i finished 0.7 of a second behind the winner, a 400+BHP 911 RSR
Keep checking this as i may add more vids as i go
Steve
This vid is at Gurston Down. It's a long established hillclimb, but very fast.
Sorry about the narrow view, the zoom got knocked out
This video is from Cadwell Park last year. My first trophy, but the car was nowhere near right. Motor was knackered. And if you are wondering why the motor sound weird at the start line, it's because the launch control was active.
This vid is from wiscombe Park Hillclimb. Very wet and VERY slippy. Not fun

Wow. Are you looking to adopt a son? I'm 31 and have moderate mechanic abilities.
Seriously, how has 911 & Porsche World not found out about your car and done an article on it? That is really amazing, the sound and performance is ferocious. You must have bull's balls to drive those speeds right beside stone walls and between brick buildings. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

oh my, I don't think I have words to describe that. I ... I think I'm going to go look for some ITB's now. And change my pants. And wipe the drool from my face.

Amazing.........I'm struggling to say more. I suppose 911 and Porsche world haven't done an artical on it because it's an embarrasment to the big money 911s!!

Sounds good steve, in fact the whistle sounds very much like mine.
Its interesting to see the differences in how the car drives. Last year when we ran at Cadwell its was dry enough to lean on the tyres and the blower allows that with some ability to pull a higher gear and soften the delivery in and out of some of the bends.
It really does show the different power delivery, ie you have to work the box a bit more. Great drive though.
I may see if I can get my mini-cam working for Goodwood (if they allow it). Then we will have a real back to back comparision.
Cheers

Phew! Really sounds like a banshee on boost. What were the changes between video #3 and vids #1 and #2? Was that the turbo change? The sound of the intake is dramatically different. I can hardly hear the turbo whine at all in #1 and #2.
Not to mention - great job keeping the top notch 911's in line! _________________ 1980 931S
