Time: 7:01:29 PMWell, the first thing I'd check is that the cold-start valve is working; it should spray fuel in as soon as the ignition is turned on.
Usually, if that is working, the engine will at least start, though maybe not stay running, in very cold weather.
If it is not, make sure it's getting current; if that is not the case, check the wiring to make sure no shorts or open circuits, and check the thermo-time switch.
If it is working, and the car fires but won't stay running, check to make sure the auxiliary air valve is working properly - it should be closed shut when the engine is quite cold, and open up as it warms up with the engine. The current supply to it will also cause it to open up by heating the bimetallic element.
However, realize it needs to be quite cold to close fully - stick it in the freezer while the wife isn't looking for an hour or two, then see if you can see through it! ;)
