looks good chrenan

i personally think i will go more like this photo that i stole from the for sale forum if/when i delete my rear seat

i like the idea of the whole back being almost flat, and i like the placing of the speakers too.

It's an evening and weekend fun car in the summer, very far from a daily driver. Hope to start using it for some DE and maybe edmonton rally club events in the near future.

Nice. Sweet seats, too. That rollbar with the harness looks wicked also.

Ya, I'm starting to get jealous of that freakin' rollbar. I love it!

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I think the whole setup is pretty cool. I always hated the looks of the back seats. Ever since I saw a picture of a 968 Club Sport I've wanted the back seats gone. I'm glad I went all the way, one-piece front seats / harnesses / roll bar / rear seat delete, it came together just how I wanted it.

Nice! I love the interior. So how'd ya do it? Someday when my car stops leaking and dries out I might actually put carpet back into it.

BTW, that steering needs to go brah! Its craptastic

I took the rear seat base to an upholstery shop I've used before and trust. They carpeted over the vinyl seat base.

I've got a 4-spoke Porsche steering wheel on its way to me right now.

Hmm, cool. Too bad I don't have a rear seat in mine as my area of town is just drowning in upholstery shops (seriously just within a 10 block radius there seems to be at least 8 or 9 shops) I'll probably have to take the car to them then.

OK, everyone can stop making fun of my steering wheel, at least make less fun of it!

well it looks nice...but...why isnt it brown ? i think that everything would look very very nice and classy if you painted everything in a two tone brown....for example the central console...its dark brown...the part that now is black, make it light brown....a beige. and the rings of the instruments..make that chrome. The interior would look very elegant in two tone brown and chrome.

The price was right for a black steering wheel, simple as that. The engine is brand new and upgraded, as is the suspension. Those are the priorities for me, mechanical things, thats where I like to spend the money.

Carpet is black so it stays clean looking, trim is all brown as that is how it came and it is in OK shape so not worth replacing.
