Help, I've got'painters block'.
I'm just about to paint my 931 and I need inspiration. I believe the 924 when done right is one of the best looking Porsches. Refined and swift. Not bulked up on steroids like the 944. Not frog-like as the 911. Not like an inverted bath tub.
But the 924 'rat nose' must go. The protruding bumpers must go. The stick on trim..out. Chrome...off.
I was thinking silver like those racing Audi's with the day glow appendages.
Black is beautiful but shtinkin' hot.
Send in the pics and let's decide.

Joe,
That looks like my '78 except I've got spiderweb rims.
I think I like this one: http://www.924.org/models/modelpics/CarreraGT/olnumber1924D.jpg

I'd like a spoiler like that, only a little more subtle. Anyone know where I could get it?

Strangely enough, that's my dad's '80 924 n/a. Used to be mine...sigh...those were the days. Looks pretty good unmodified, if I say so myself

Cool! I finally did it!
Look at the 924 width spoiler on the yellow/amarillo car.
