Well, I have my Megasquirt installed and its working correctly. But when I tried to crank over the car for the first time last night I didn't get any spark.
I'm not sure why it isn't getting spark, but since I was planning on going with the Ford EDIS system and MSII in the near future, I just decided to bump my schedule ahead slightly and buy all the EDIS stuff today. So I'm just going to tear out the OEM ignition system tonight, unless anyone has any guesses as to why I'm not getting spark.
Anyways, I just want to let you guys know that my car should be back on the road pretty soon, so watch out and keep your women and children off the roads, haha. I'll try to get pictures up of my pretty engine and 951 IC install as soon as I have some free time and the motivation.
Later dudes,

as per spark, just verify that the ign system is getting a trigger signal and that the coil still does actually spark, and of course that the ign module is getting power _________________ 3 928s, |

My EDIS system is being installed at the moment. I went with the Megasquirt Light Junior board and standard EDIS4 equipment.
Crank pulley is off, installing the tooth wheel on the back of it with five high tensile bolts into the unused AC pulley groove. Then gotta make a bracket for the VR sensor and a bracket for the coil pack and module up where the old ignition coil used to be.
Fun and games! _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

Well, I bought my EDIS stuff yesterday, but then before ripping the old system out I found out what the problem was. There just wasn't power going to the coil. I plugged it in and the car fired right up after about 5 seconds of cranking.
Oh well, still going to put in the EDIS before I drive her. Boy was it great to here her purr again though!

Congratulations! I'm curious what you used for an initial fuel map?
Anyway, if you need a way to attach the EDIS timing wheel, I can get my machinist to pop one out for around $75. He tack welds the toothed wheel to the spacer and the spacer fits almost perfectly inside the stock pulley (on the front). I'm going to pop some pics up this weekend. It's really a fantastic piece of work. Then you just need a slightly longer (10-15mm) pulley bolt and it bolts right up.
best,

Hey Nick,
I just used the default fuel map that comes with Megatune. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to do any tuning yet. I've been busy with another project www.content2drown.com/sonerai.
I will let you know if I decide I need help fitting my reluctor wheel. I haven't really looked at it, so I don't yet know exactly what I'm going to do.
Thanks,
