I ran the car at the Ty-Croes sprint weekend and was able to take two class wins both better than the old class record. Track conditions were great, dry and warm. The track is about 1.3 miles in total and just under 2 laps takes about 99 seconds from a standing start.

I drove the car very hard through, and in some cases over the corners!

Throughout it pulled out very well, smoother than before the phantom grip and when I did step off the tarmac onto the dirt the car came back to me a lot better. There is one very tight hairpin right in which I experienced some understeer until I changed my style to accomodate the rear gripping better, a good sign.

Cant yet say if it is doing any damage in the box but after 4 very hard events I'm impressed (the 911 drivers are not!).

Cheers
Simon

I have a picture showing the car drifting with two wheels laying rubber after a moment of madness when I ran a bit wide at a chicane....it shows the diff working with two lines on the track....something it just wouldnt do before.
Can ayone post it for me please if I send them it?
Cheers
Simon

Peter
These are the dp race replica items. Ninemeister can make them over here in the UK.
Not sure what the cost would be though.
If you want to ask call Colin on 01925 242342

Cheers
Simon

Well,
I did the Brands Porsche Festival sprint this weekend and the car ran well if a little hot. Big thanks to Sbass for the water wetter which I am sure helped a bit. It was a very hot weekend.

On the sprint the car handled great and was just about within itself for the win, maybe a little more time in her yet, (or me!)

Perhaps of more interest was the track practice sessions which were 20 mins long. As the car came out of Clarke corner the normal tendency to oversteer until you can get grip was much less than last year...real proof the phantom grip unit is still hanging in there.

I have one more event to do this year and once thats over I'll pull the unit out, photo it and see what wear is evident.

Cheers
Simon
