I've used the top "heat box" setup way more than the powder coating oven. The heat box is what I used to heat up plastic for my homemade vacuum forming machine.

you took them fully appart and when you put them back together they didnt leak?

Very sexy. Looks like I'll have to try that next on my vacuum forming machine. I think I'll do some tinited bronze to see if it matches my dark metalic charcoal gray paint. That would look sexy!

I can remember the IMSA widebody panels for the Monza/Starfire/Skyhawk. Very nice look, but the chassis wasn't much fun to work with. Nice to see another altered version of it still around.

OH-EM-Gee!!! Fueled by stupid compounded by beer... That is so not right. At least use a cutoff wheel then weld the piece back in.
